Intermediate Spanish

This program will not be offered in the Winter of 2026, check back for programming in the Fall of 2026.

This class is tailored to participants who have a previous knowledge of Spanish. The class will focus on increasing their vocabulary. Adding more tenses other than present. Future and past tense will be explored.

Participants will have the opportunity to practice Spanish through songs, videos, and meeting special Spanish speaking guests. Every class has a them like: favorite restaurants & entertainment, asking for directions, ordering food or booking a hotel room and a grammar portion.

About Monica Aspiazu

Monica has been in Saskatoon for 17 years. Originally from Ecuador. She has taught Spanish at different community associations. Does interpretations for the court, schools and medical appts. She has the motivation and expertise needed to teach a language. She has been teaching Spanish and other languages for 20 years. You will enjoy learning Spanish in a fun, dynamic way. Through songs, dialogues, postcards and puppets you will be ready to travel to your next warm destination (wherever it is).

She speaks Spanish, English, French and German.
