About Our Community

We are one of Saskatoon’s historic east side communities, and are represented by the Buena Vista Community Association, which itself is one of the oldest such associations in western Canada. It has a close working relationship with Buena Vista School and is actively involved in maintaining the community outdoor rink and playground equipment on school grounds, even helping with school field trips. The Association draws on a strong core of volunteers to coordinate community events, leisure programs for all ages and sports programs for children/youth.

Our Community Association is a volunteer-run group. We get together to plan community events, programming and more. Join us at a meeting! Information is posted on our home page.

We are closely associated with the Buena Vista Public School located on Lorne Ave and we have a great Creative Preschool and K-8 classes through the Public School division.
